Custom Software Built Around Real Businesses

Warp App Development is a founder-led custom software studio on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We design and build business systems, client portals, membership platforms, custom CRMs, SaaS products and AI-powered tools — software that fits how your business actually works, instead of forcing your business to fit a generic off-the-shelf product. Projects typically run from A$5,000 to A$50,000+, scoped honestly to your goals.

What does Warp App Development do?

We build custom software for businesses — business systems, client portals, membership and learning platforms, booking systems, custom CRMs, SaaS products and AI-powered operational tools — designed around the way your team actually works.

Who is Warp for?

Service businesses, allied health providers, consultants, coaches, pet industry businesses, NDIS organisations, membership communities, startups and small to medium-sized businesses who need software tailored to their unique processes — not another off-the-shelf SaaS subscription.

How much does custom software cost?

Projects vary with complexity. Internal business tools start from A$5,000, client portals from A$7,500, membership platforms from A$10,000, custom CRM systems from A$15,000, and SaaS products are custom-quoted. Every project is scoped honestly with a fixed price up front. International clients can toggle USD pricing on the page.

How long does a project take?

Small internal tools and client portals typically launch in 4 to 8 weeks. Larger custom CRM systems, membership platforms and SaaS builds run 8 to 16 weeks, depending on integrations and scope.

Where is Warp based?

Warp is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, working with clients across Brisbane, Australia and overseas. Async-first, with scheduled live syncs whenever they help.

Who owns the finished software?

You do. Full source code, repositories, hosting accounts and infrastructure are handed over to you. No vendor lock-in, no rented software, no surprise renewals.

02 · what we build

Custom Software, Designed Around Your Business

Software that fits how you actually work.

From the internal systems that quietly run your operation, to the SaaS product you've been imagining for years. Six things Warp builds well — and the business outcomes they unlock.

01Operations

Business Systems

Internal operational software, staff management, workflow platforms and operational dashboards — designed around your team's actual day-to-day.

→ Centralise scattered processes · cut admin time · give your team one place to work.

02Portals

Client & Customer Portals

Branded portals where customers, clients or members access services, bookings, files and information — built around your specific workflow, not a generic SaaS template.

→ Better client experience · fewer inbound emails · a service that feels premium.

03Bookings

Booking & Scheduling Platforms

Purpose-built systems for businesses whose scheduling needs don't fit Calendly or generic booking SaaS — multi-resource, multi-location, conditional, or tied to specific operational rules.

→ Schedule the way your business actually runs · stop forcing workarounds.

04Memberships

Membership & Learning Platforms

Online memberships, learning platforms, course delivery and subscription-based services — for coaches, allied health providers, communities, and service businesses scaling beyond 1:1.

→ Recurring revenue · scaled delivery · a real product instead of a Google Drive folder.

05SaaS

SaaS Products

End-to-end SaaS products for founders, startups and organisations — from validated MVP through to multi-tenant platforms with billing, auth and admin built in from day one.

→ Turn an idea into a real product · launch lean · own the platform outright.

06AI

AI & Automation

AI assistants, custom knowledge bases, workflow automation and operational intelligence — grounded in your real business data and processes, not vague chatbot demos.

→ Automate the repetitive · surface what matters · do more with the team you have.

03 · who we work with

Businesses That Need Software Built Around Them

Not the other way around.

Warp works best with businesses whose processes don't quite fit off-the-shelf software — the ones building careful workarounds in spreadsheets, juggling four SaaS subscriptions, or watching a great idea sit in a notebook.

01

Service businesses

Studios, consultancies and operators whose service model doesn't fit a generic CRM or SaaS tool.

02

Allied health providers

Clinics, practitioners and allied health groups managing clients, sessions, notes and compliance.

03

Consultants & coaches

Established consultants and coaches productising their methodology into a portal, course or platform.

04

Pet industry businesses

Pet services, retailers and care providers needing operational software that fits an unusual workflow.

05

NDIS-related organisations

Providers building participant portals, service coordination tools and compliance-aware operational systems.

06

Membership businesses

Communities, associations and subscription services running on patchwork tools that have hit their ceiling.

07

Startups & founders

Founders turning an idea into a real, shippable product — built lean, owned outright, ready to grow.

08

Small & medium businesses

SMBs scaling past the point where spreadsheets, SaaS stacks and manual processes are still working.

If you're somewhere on this list — or somewhere adjacent — we'd love to hear what you're building.

07 · the founder

Charlotte Bryan, founder of Warp App Development, standing by a tree

"Software should fit the way your business actually works — not the other way around."

— Charlotte Bryan, founder

Founder-Led by Charlotte Bryan

Hi, I'm Charlotte. I build software for the way you actually work.

I started Warp because I kept watching businesses force themselves into software that didn't fit. Generic SaaS tools, patched-together spreadsheets, four subscriptions doing half a job each — and the operational pain that comes with all of it.

I'm a business owner myself. I know what it's like to wear every hat, to obsess over the customer experience, to feel the friction in your own workflows long before anyone else notices. That's the lens I bring to every project — not just "is this technically possible?" but "does this actually fit how your business runs day-to-day?"

Warp combines real business understanding with hands-on software development. You don't talk to a project manager and hope they pass it on. You talk to the person designing and building your software — someone who's run a business, understands operations, and treats your project like a real product, not a ticket.

That's the difference between a development agency and a software partner: one builds what you said, the other helps you build what you actually need.

Custom Software FAQs

The things people usually want to know.

Can't see your question here? Send a postcard at the bottom of the page — or book a 30-minute discovery call. We love a good question.

01 What kind of software does Warp build?
Custom software, business systems, client portals, membership platforms, booking and scheduling systems, custom CRMs, SaaS products, and AI-powered tools. Everything we build is designed around the way a specific business actually works, rather than forced into a generic template.
02 Who is Warp for?
Service businesses, allied health providers, consultants, coaches, pet industry businesses, NDIS-related organisations, membership businesses, startups and small to medium-sized businesses — anyone who needs software tailored to their unique processes instead of an off-the-shelf product.
03 How much does custom software cost?
Projects vary significantly with complexity. Indicative starting ranges: internal business tools from A$5,000, client portals from A$7,500, membership platforms from A$10,000, custom CRM systems from A$15,000, and SaaS products on custom quote. Every project is scoped honestly with a fixed price up front, so you know exactly what you're committing to.
04 How long does a custom software project take?
Smaller internal tools and client portals typically launch in 4 to 8 weeks. Larger custom CRMs, membership platforms and SaaS products usually run 8 to 16 weeks, depending on integrations, complexity and scope. You'll have a clear timeline before any work begins.
05 What makes Warp different from a traditional development agency?
Warp is founder-led by Charlotte Bryan, who runs her own businesses too. That means we understand operations, workflows, customer journeys and the realities of running a small business — not just the technology. You work directly with the person building your software, not a project manager and a hand-off chain.
06 Where is Warp App Development based?
Warp App Development is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, working with clients across Brisbane, Australia and overseas. The studio operates async-first with scheduled live syncs as needed.
07 Do you build AI-powered software?
Yes. We build AI assistants, custom knowledge bases, operational intelligence tools and workflow automation — grounded in your real business data and processes, not vague chatbot demos. AI is an ingredient where it earns its place, not a sticker on the box.
08 Can you replace a system we've outgrown?
Often, yes. Many of our projects begin with a business that has outgrown a SaaS tool, a stitched-together set of platforms, or a spreadsheet-driven process that everyone's quietly cursing. We design a single custom system that fits how your team actually works — and migrate your data carefully on the way in.
09 Do you offer a discovery call?
Yes. We offer a 30-minute, no-obligation discovery call to discuss your goals, workflows and whether custom software is the right path for your business. If it's not, we'll happily tell you so and point you at a better option.
10 Who owns the code and accounts at the end?
You do. Full source code, repositories, hosting accounts and infrastructure are handed over to you at launch. No vendor lock-in, no rented software, no surprise renewals — your software is genuinely yours.
11 Do you support and improve software after launch?
Yes. We offer optional ongoing support and growth retainers to keep your system secure, evolving and aligned with your business — new features, integrations, improvements as your needs change. Engagements stay flexible and never get locked in.
